HEALTH POLICY

 

In order to maintain a healthy and sanitary environment for your pet, we require that all pets are current for the following vaccines:

 

Canine: Canine Distemper Combination, Rabies, Bordetella - required every 6 months

Feline: Feline Distemper Combination, Rabies

 

Owners must present proof of vaccination upon check-in. Bed and Biscuit can contact your pet's veterinarian for you.

Guests must be free of any contagious disease and free from fleas and ticks. If it is determined during the stay that the guest is showing signs of illness the guest will be quarantined in our facility and examined by Belleville Animal Clinic Staff for the safety of the other guests in our facility. In the event that treatment is required, we will first contact the owner and then the guest's personal veterinarian, if requested.

If it is determined that the guest is infested with fleas and/or ticks, the guest will be treated with Frontline or Advantage in order to prevent other pets in the facility from becoming infested.

The owner will be responsible for any charges relating to illness and/or infestation.
